  New In-Motion animated QuickTime version now available for WebBall Team Players. Please sign in or join. Who's best at second, third, and short? Sometimes you may discover a hidden talent on the team even after you've chosen your regulars. It's also a good way for a back-up to prove he deserves a starting slot, and for the coach to assess arm strength and fielding ability from different angles and distances. RED lines are direction of ball throws or simulated hits. Set-Up Start with several players at each infield position. This drill was submitted by Keith Walker of Pass Christian, Mississippi. As of Spring 2009 he is coaching his own son's rec team, assists at a middle school, has taken youth all-star teams to state championships, coached a USSSA team to state runner-up twice, and also coached on PAL World Series and Babe Ruth World Series (age 16) teams that each finished 5th in the nation. |
